Hi, Valentine's Day is coming, so it's time to crochet a heart.
I crocheted these 35 hearts for the first time on my parents' 35th wedding anniversary. I put hearts in a jar and wrapped the jar with a ribbon.
Do you like it?
What you need:
- yarn - color as you wish (I like YarnArt Jeans)
- crochet hook 2,5 mm
- stuffing
- tapestry needle
- scissors
The first piece (I)
Rnd 1: 6 sc in a MR [6]
Rnd 2: 6 inc [12]
Rnd 3: 12 sc [12]
Finish 1st piece with sl st (I like invisible join instead of sl st), cut the yarn and fasten off.
Crochet the second piece (II) based on the same pattern but don't cut the yarn, because we will join two pieces together.
Rnd 4: 1 sc (II), insert the hook through both 1 st of the second piece and 1 st of the first piece and work 1 sc, 11 sc in next st (I), insert the hook through both 12th st of the first piece and 1 st of the second piece and work 1 sc, 11 sc (II, crochet until you reach the marker, 12th sc = the marker st).
Rnd 5: 24 sc [24]
Rnd 6: (1 sc, dec) x 8 [16]
Rnd 7: 16 sc [16]
Start stuffing.
Rnd 8: 8 dec [8]
Rnd 9: 4 dec [4]
Fasten off, cut the yarn and weave the ends of yarn.
You can add key ring and make a keychain :-)
Lots of love!
