Hello, recently I finished next creature of THE CUTIES. I present you Suzy the hare! :-) In the post you find FREE PATTERN. The toy size is 10 cm tall (if you use materials stated in the pattern), so you may use it as keychain for your bag or hang it in your car. Subscribe my blog and channel on YouTube :-)

Materials:
- YarnArt Jeans - following colors:
- beige no 05 (muzzle, tummy, outer part of the eyes)
- light pink no 18 (inner part of the ears)
- blue no 15 (eyes)
- white
- black
I used YarnArt Jeans because I was working on the pattern and I needed visible stitches. But you can of course use fluffy yarn of similar gauge to make your Suzy really soft toy.
- Crochet hook 2.5 mm
In my pattern, in even-numbered rounds, I divided scs to obtain almost perfect round (not hexagonal shape): e.g. Rnd 4: (1 sc, inc, 1 sc) x 6 [24]. You can of course crochet traditional way: Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 [24].

Row 10: 12 sc [12]
Row 11: inc, 10 sc, inc [14]
Row 12: 14 sc [14]
Now work scs around the edges to smooth the edges (look at photo and picture below).
MUZZLE
Beige
Rnd 1: ch 3, insert the hook in 2nd st and work around the chain: 1 sc, 3 sc in one st, 1 sc, 3 sc in the last st [8]
Rnd 2: 8 inc [16]
Rnd 3: (7 sc, inc) x 2 [18]
Rnd 4: 18 sc [18]
Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.
Stuff while sewing to the head.
Look at the photo below to see how I placed all beige (tummy, outer part of the eye and muzzle). Firstly I pinned the top point of tummy - marked blue dot in the centre (magic circle).
I placed eyes and muzzle. I marked the muzzle (red dotted ellipse).
Muzzle touches black eyes corners (two red dots). Space between the dots = 4 st.

I also brushed up the tummy and muzzle with Velcro.
Finally I embroidered the nose, mouth (with black floss) and tongue (with pink floss).
Rnd 2: (1 sc, inc) x 4 [12]
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 [18]

EYES
Crochet hook 2 mm.
We start from pupil (black yarn) and then we change color to crochet iris.
Rnd 1: 8 sc in MR [8]
Rnd 2: (1 sc, inc) x 4 [12]
Rnd 3: 1 sc, inc, (1sc, ch 2, 1 sc) in one st, inc, 1 sc, change color: (1 sc, inc) x 3, 1 sc.
Fasten off (I do invisible finish), weave in yarn ends.
I work the edging using black thin thread and crochet hook 1 mm (if you want to make black frame for eyes, as in the original cutie creature). I work 2 sc in each stitch.
Finally I embroider white reflections in the centre of each eye.
Firstly I sewed the eyes to the beige part and then pinned the beige part to the head regarding the muzzle placement.
Muzzle touches the black eye corners (look at the photo above).
