Hello :-) In the post you find the pattern for next cutie - George the hedgehog. Share the pattern with your friends and followers, if you like and SUBSCRIBE my YouTube channel and blog ;-) Have a great crocheting!
The George's body is quite similar to the Sophia the owl. Is based on the basic pattern for cutie I showed you here for Boris the beaver pattern: Boris the beaver FREE PATTERN.
For the body I used Alize Softy (beige no 310) and YarnArt Samba (brown no 2034). One skein is enough; crochet hook 2.5 mm.
To obtain the same size as for all the cuties, I crochet the stitches strictly because I use fluffy yarns and the gauge should be adjusted. Try to adjust it to your size.
HEAD & BODY
Beige Alize Softy, crochet hook 2.5 mm.Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR [6]
Rnd 2: 6 inc [12]
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 [18]
Rnd 4: (1 sc, inc, 1 sc) x 6 [24]
Rnd 5: (3 sc, inc) x 6 [30]
Rnd 6: (2 sc, inc, 2 sc) x 6 [36]
Rnd 7: (5 sc, inc) x 6 [42]
Rnd 8: (3 sc, inc, 3 sc) x 6 [48]

Rnd 11: (9 sc, inc) x 6 [66]
Rnd 12: (5 sc, inc, 5 sc) x 6 [72]
Now change the yarn - brown YarnArt Samba no 2034. Because it is hairy yarn and to make the hair visible or the right side, I crochet from the wrong side almost till the end and before crocheting final rounds I reverse it on the right side.
Start from the wrong side...
...still it is the wrong side
Now you look at the hair on the right side.
This is the wrong side again (you see lots of yarn ends)
... and the right side.
Rnds 13-25: 72 sc [72]
Rnd 26: (5 sc, dec, 5 sc) x 6 [66]
Rnd 27: (9 sc, dec) x 6 [60]
Rnd 28: (4 sc, dec, 4 sc) x 6 [54]
Rnd 29: (7 sc, dec) x 6 [48]
Rnd 30: (3 sc, dec, 3 sc) x 6 [42]
Rnd 31: (5 sc, dec) x 6 [36]
Rnd 32: (2 sc, dec, 2 sc) x 6 [30]
Rnd 33: (3 sc, dec) x 6 [24]
Now try to reverse the body on the right side and continue crocheting as usual.
Don't forget to stuff the toy before you close the opening.
Rnd 34: (1 sc, dec, 1 sc) x 6 [18]
Rnd 35: (1 sc, dec) x 6 [12]
Rnd 36: 6 dec [6]
Fasten off, close the opening and weave in loose ends.
EAR (make 2)
Work two parts with two types of yarn:- Alize Softy beige
- YarnArt Jeans no 07 dark beige (after crocheting the dark beige part don't cut the yarn, because you will continue crocheting the edging with the yarn)
Rnd 1: ch 2, insert the hook in 2nd st and work 1 inc, 1 turning chain, turn [4]
Rnd 2: 2 inc, 1 tch, turn [4]
Rnd 3: 4 sc, 1 tch, turn [4]
Rnd 4: inc, 2 sc, inc [6]
Join two parts with dark beige yarn (Alize beige on the top, YarnArt Jeans dark beige at the bottom): 4 sc on the right side, 3 sc in one st on the top stitch, 4 sc on the left side.

EYE (make 2)
Version 1 - flat
Crochet hook 2 mm.
Start from the pupil (black yarn) and then we change color to crochet iris.
Rnd 1: 8 sc in MR [8]
Rnd 2: (1 sc, inc) x 4 [12]
Rnd 3: 1 sc, inc, (1sc, ch 2, 1 sc) in one st, inc, 1 sc, change color: (1 sc, inc) x 3, 1 sc.
Fasten off (I do invisible finish), weave in yarn ends.
I work edging using black thin thread and crochet hook 1 mm (if you want to make black frame for the eyes, as in the original cutie creature). I work 2 sc in each stitch.
Finally I embroider white reflections in the centre of each eye.
Version 2 - 3D eyes
If you want to make 3D eyes, you may use safety eyes.Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR [6]
Rnd 2: 6 inc [12]
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 [18]
Rnds 4-6: 18 sc [18]
Rnd 7: (1 sc, dec) x 6 [12]
Rnd 8: 6 dec [6]

Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR [6]
Rnd 2: 6 inc [12]
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 [18]
Rnd 4: 18 sc [18]
Stuff while sewing to the head.
Embroider the nose and muzzle with black thin thread (I split YarnArt Jeans black in two threads).
Look at the Boris' muzzle scheme to get the instructions on embroidering proportions.
