LEAVES - wreath ornament

 

This is written pattern for Bunny wreath ornament - LEAVES (different kinds).

Materials:

cord 3 mm, crochet hook 3.5 mm

or the yarns you have in your stock.

Abbreviation (US):

ch - chain 

sl st - slip stitch

sc - single crochet

hdc - half double crochet 

dc - double crochet

tr - treble

MR - magic ring

inc - increase, 2 sc in one st 

dec - decrease, 2 sc together

 

LEAF v1 (SMALLER):

Ch 2 and work in 2nd ch from the hook:
1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, ch 1, sl st inserting the hook through previous dc, then 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, sl st (to join), ch 2 (for pedicle).
Fasten off.

LEAF v1 (BIGGER)

Ch 2 and work in 2nd stitch from the hook:
2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 tr, ch 1, sl st inserting the hook through previous 1 tr, 2 tr, 2 dc, 2 hdc, sl st (to join), ch 2 (for pedicle).
Fasten off.

LEAF v2

Start with ch 6, then insert the hook in 4th chain and work:
1 dc, 1 hdc, (2sc, ch 1, 2 sc) in last ch,
then on the opposite side: 1 hdc, 1 dc, ch 3, join with sl st.
Fasten off.

LEAF v3

Start with ch 8,
insert the hook in 2nd chain and work:
1 sl st, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sl st and on the opposite side: 1 slst, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sl st.
Fasten off.

LEAF v4 (narrow)

Materials: cotton yarn, crochet hook 2.5 mm
Start with ch 11, insert the hook in 2nd ch and work:
1 sl st, 1 sc, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sl st, then ch 1 and on the opposite side:
1 sl st, 1 sc, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sl st.
Fasten off.
